Working in Partnership

Making Moments That Matter

Innovative and Entrepreneurial Thinking

Courageously Learning, Growing & Leading

Silkwood acknowledges the four key elements of a healthy workplace

It is recognised that these broad-based factors are interdependent and must be considered as parts of a holistic approach to a healthy workplace and employee wellbeing. Using a high-performance design approach, Silkwood will provide a healthy workplace through:

The Physical Environment

Providing the funding and support for a healthy workplace to the Team and Culture Department and Wellness Team. Providing a healthy and safe physical work environment.

Health Practices

Providing a social environment that is supportive of Team Member wellbeing.

Social Environment

Supporting Team Members own efforts to make improvements in their health practices. Reducing or eliminating unnecessary stress caused by the work environment. Enhancing Team Members sense of influence over their work and their lives.

Personal Resources

Developing the personal resources (knowledge, skill and ability) of Team Members to help them manage the social and work aspects of their lives in a positive and healthy manner.

Diversity and Connections at Silkwood

Diversity and inclusion are a part of Silkwood’s diverse workplace, as we continue to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates the diverse voices of our team members, students and families.
Silkwood would like to acknowledge the work that is carried out on the land of the Kombumerri people and Silkwood’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
It supports innovation and connects us closer to our students, families and our local community.
"Now more than ever, we all need to be doing our best to regularly pause, take a breath and be proactive in looking after ourselves and each other."
