Enjoy a variety of spaces across our campuses to relax in and enjoy all things SWISH

Wellness Stations are dedicated spaces designed to provide a health and wellness sanctuary where you can browse a selection of magazines and light reads to help you thrive on your wellness journey.

Staffroom Wellness Stations

We have dedicated SWISH Wellness Stations at each campus in the Staffroom (Primary, Middle and the Seinor School) that provide information and resources for all team members – including magazines, updates, tips and tricks to suit a variety of needs,, including our ‘Loose Leaf Tea Wednesday’ Stations and our ‘book spinners’ for all your wellbeing reading needs.

How to Check Out a SWISH Book

We have two great options to offer, please select which one best suits you and follow the instructions below.

Library

  1. Take your desired book to the self checkout loan station
  2. Press the screen to start and scan your staff card
  3. Select borrow and place your book on the borrowing pad (multiple books can be placed there at once)
  4. Press exit (no receipt is provided)
  5. If the item does not borrow, please check if you have any items overdue, as it will prohibit you from borrowing. If this does not work, then try returning the book, in case there was a technical issue. If you are still prohibited from borrowing, please see Fiona 

Oliver App – Download and Set Up

  1. Download the Oliver App (Library Link in App Store) onto your phone
  2. Go to go.silkwood and click on the library square and then Oliver
  3. Select the drop down menu where your name is at and click on ‘My Details’
  4. Select ‘Library link set up’ under ‘my details’ on the left hand side drop down menu
  5. Open the Library Link app on your phone and click on ‘Set up’ at the bottom with a spanner icon
  6. Scan the QR code on your computer and press save- you should now see Silkwood Library 
  7. You are now set up to check out books – see more detailed steps below
  8. If you experience any technical issues, please see Fiona for support

Borrow Items Using Oliver App

  1. Open up your app
  2. Click on ‘borrow items’
  3. Scan the Silkwood bar code label on the cover of the book
  4. You have now checked out your book, enjoy!
  5. ‘My Current Loans’ shows any books assigned to you

Return Items Using Oliver App

  1. Open up your app
  2. Click on ‘return items’
  3. Scan the Silkwood bar code on the cover of the book
  4. Place the book back on the spinner
  5. You have now checked back your book!

When visiting the library, we invite you to browse our growing selection off wellbeing reads from the SWISH Spinner. Take a moment to invest in your wellness journey, while enjoying the comfort of the couch. Sit back and relax!
